Careers

At Red Moor, we are dedicated to supporting our students through the process of deciding what direction they would like to take when they leave our school.

We recognise the importance of presenting students with all of the options available to them both Pre and Post 16 and providing students with meaningful career related opportunities and activities from years 7 through to 11. Careers provision is a pivotal part of our curriculum and as a result, we have created the following school Careers programme for students from year 7 to year 11.

Our Careers Leader is Sam Stevenson, supported by Billy Way. If you have any queries about careers, higher education, work experience, or if you would like further information on how more information about our careers programme can be access, they can be contacted by email at: sam.stevenson@redmoorschool.co.uk , billy.way@redmoorschool.co.uk or by telephone on 01726 219472.

The following careers programme has been designed to link to the Gatsby Benchmarks and uses Careerpilot as a source of advice and guidance. Each secondary aged student has been provided with their own individual login for Careerpilot and will use the programme to record qualifications, experiences and skills and map out their plan for the future. If you have any queries about accessing your child’s Careerpilot account, please contact Sam using the information above.
